I have been meaning to add something cheerful to our front outside door for the past few months but haven’t gotten around to finding what I actually wanted to do or hang up.  Really I have just been too lazy to go to the craft store and put it all together.  So on Sunday I decided that I was going to bite the bullet and find something decorative to put up on our front door that I could keep up until the snow starts to fall.  I found this great wood wreath and decided that would be the perfect starting off point for our door decoration.

As I was shopping around, I found a pre-made burlap bow on sale in a wonderful green color so I snatched that up.  I still wasn’t completely satisfied as I felt the wreath was missing something.  As I was browsing around, I came across a cute wood letter “L”.

I brought all of the materials home and tied the green burlap bow to the wood wreath.  Then, using clear fishing wire, I attached the wood letter “L” to the wood wreath.  Finally, I added a black ribbon to hang it from the front door.

I am very pleased with the final product.  I think it makes a very welcoming addition to our entryway!
