So the big reveal is finally here! I have been working really hard on getting A’s nursery ready for her so she can actually sleep in her room. I did not set up the nursery before she arrived, but I did have Ben paint the bedroom and I put up some decals. Other than that, nothing was set up. I knew I wanted to use purple and grey for the color scheme as she can grow into her room instead of making it just a nursery. The final product is something I am really proud of!
I purchased the bedding at Land of Nod:
- Purple Pendant Sheet
- Marine Queen Sheet
- Dream Girl Sheet
- Dream Girl Crib Skirt
- Dream Girl Changing Pad Cover
The shelves are Allen + Roth for Lowe. We purchased two sizes to hang above the changing table. Instead of using what was given to us to hang, we purchased the wall mounts that go on the back of the shelves to make it easier to hang. I really wanted something that looked clean and popped against the purple walls.
The glider was purchased at Buy Buy Baby. We bought that for E’s room and moved it into A’s room once she was sleeping in her room.
The Wall Decals were purchased on Etsy by ExpressionsWallArt. I ordered purple, grey, white and teal and thought they were the easiest things to hang up!
Dressers were from family that we painted and purchased pulls from Restoration Hardware. The booties were knitted by my aunt as a gift for Addy. My mother knit the blanket as a birth present for A. The knit hat was given to us as a present from a good friend. And the animal pictures were made by my future sister-in-law.
