With the holidays coming, I thought it would be fun to create a different kind of table setting for our family. Since it is freezing here in the midwest, I thought using these adorable sweater stamps to create sweater place settings for our DIY holiday tablescape would be a fun and different way to spruce things up this year!

Adorable Sweater Place Setting for DIY Holiday Tablescapes

Step One

Stamp the sweater with the “hello” in the middle onto a piece of paper using the ink pad. I used a chalk ink for mine.

Step Two

Once the stamp is dry, cut out the outline of the sweater. You could also cut out the sweater using the die cut set!

Step Three

Run the sweater through the Xyron Creative Station Lite. I used the repositionable adhesive so I could adjust the location of the sweater if needed.

Step Four

Cut out a small square using the card stock. Fold the paper in half. This is going to be the stand for the sweater place card.

Step Five

Adhere the folded paper to the back of the sweater stamp. I made sure it would stand up, which is why I wanted to use the repositionable adhesive!

Step Six

Write the individuals name in the middle of the sweater. I used my favorite TomBow pen.

Step Seven

Repeat this for all the guests that you will need place cards for.

Napkin Rings

I also created napkin ring holders by cutting paper to wrap around our napkins and adhering them together using my Xyron Tape Runner. Then I cut out a circle using a hole puncher and adding the flower stamp from the sweater weather stamp set to the middle. I adhered that to the paper using my Xyron Creative Station Lite!

Now I cannot wait until we can set these adorable sweater place cards on the table for our holiday get togethers! For more inspiration from Xyron and Waffle Flower, check out their Facebook pages!
