We have been searching all over for bar stools for our kitchen. I have looked everywhere for inspiration. I was struggling with ideas because we have black granite counter tops and white cabinets in our kitchen area.
But our dining room is open to the kitchen, and we did dark grey cabinets in the “dining area” of the space. So trying to find some counter stools was going to be a challenge!
And we have little kids… so I needed to be thoughtful about which bar stools I selected, so they wouldn’t break the chair or fall off!
When I started my search, I was looking for bar stools. But I quickly found that there was a different between bar stools and counter stools. Most of the stools I was looking at ended up being counter height, which is what we needed!
I would recommend checking the height of your area before searching for stools! It will give you a better idea of what specifically you are looking for.
So, since I was looking for counter-height stools, that narrowed down my search, and lead me to find some really amazing chairs that fit into the modern city farmhouse style our kitchen and house is transforming into!
