Hanukkah is the festival of lights. And this year we decked out the house in silver, blue, and white.
Our entry front entrance, entryway, family room, and dining room are ready for the festivities.
Hanukkah Decor On A Budget
To decorate on a budget, I first suggest rounding up all of your decor. Doesn’t matter what holiday it is for. Just collect everything. Then start to place those items around your space. Once you figure out where things can go, you can see if you need to add anything to the mix. This way you are only buying things you actually need!
Outdoor Hanukkah Decorations
One thing we do every year is add blue and white lights to our entryway. Not everyone who celebrates Hanukkah does this, but we like the lights. And Hanukkah is the festival of lights.
We line the walkway and front garden with lights we found.
I have added garland and blue and silver decorative balls to our lanterns.
And swapped out our summer planter for something that can last all winter…cabbage and birch logs.
Entryway Hanukkah Decor
I added some garland and blue pillows to our entryway. This garland I found at the Target dollar spot a few years ago. But I did make a similar one by doing a DIY Hanukkah Decorations From Dollar Store.
I think it gives it a nice Hanukkah touch.
Mantel Decor
This year I feel like I got our mantel looking its best.
I started by hanging my Hanukkah wreath I made last year over the mirror.
Then I used blue and silver decorative balls in vases I already had. Adding different heights of things helped create interest in the visuals since the colors are all the same. I used candle stands of different heights.
The candles are just white candles I wrapped in blue ribbon.
And I hung our garland from the mantel.
In addition to the mantel, I added some other touches of Hanukkah decor like our Lego menorah and dreidels all over the living room.
Dining Room Hanukkah Decorations
Our oversized chalkboard got a new quote for the holidays. It’s a reminder to only say yes to things we love.
I also added some plants and candles to the dining room table. These were candles I had from previous years decorations. You can read how I set that up below:

Our bar cart got some decorations as well. I added some garland and blue and silver balls in to a vase.
