Recently I just updated my daughter’s bedroom with a fun unicorn print, and giant paper flowers. Well, I have to confess that I absolutely loved making the giant paper flowers. I have a few in my office and in our play room. But, making a bunch at a time was so much fun!

So I am sharing a few easy ways to create your own giant paper flowers. PLUS I will be doing a Facebook Live today at 4:00 central time over on the Craft Box Girls page for National DIY Day!!

How To Make Giant Paper Flowers

There are a few ways you can go about making giant paper flowers, so I am breaking it down by method to create them!

Stencil

Materials

Tutorial

Step One

Cut out all the stencils from the free PDF downloads.

Step Two

Trace the large flower onto the cardstock. You will need to make 2 large flowers. Cut out each flower.

Step Three

Trace the medium flower onto cardstock. You will need 2 medium flowers. Cut out each flower.

Step Four

Trace the small flower onto cardstock. You just need 1 of these. Cut out the flower.

Step Five

Trace the leaf onto cardstock. You will need 2 leaves. Cut out both leaves.

Step Six

Layer the flowers. Start with both leaves, then the two large flowers, then the medium, then the small.

Step Seven

Hot glue each layer to each other.

Step Eight

Roll the ends of all the flowers using the pencil.

Step Nine

To hang on the wall, I attached my giant flowers using Command Brand Velcro strips.

Cricut/Silhouette

Materials

  • Cutting Machine
  • Cardstock
  • Brads
  • Pencil

Tutorial

Step One

Find flower template in your design studio.

Step Two

Enlarge flowers to the size of a 12×12 cardstock.

Step Three

Cut out each part of the flower.

Step Four

Attach the flower parts together using the brad.

Step Five

Roll the ends of each part of the flower using a pencil.

Step Six

Fan out the flower and hang!

Die Cut

Materials

  • Die Cutting Machine
  • Flower Die Cuts
  • Cardstock
  • Brads
  • Pencil

Tutorial

Step One

Run the flower die cuts through the machine.

Step Two

Put the flower together then attach using the brad.

Step Three

Roll the ends of the flowers using the pencil.

Step Four

Fan out and hang!

Pre-Cut Paper Flowers

Materials

Step One

Pop out all the pre-cut paper flowers

Step Two

Roll the edges of the flowers using the pencil.

Step Three

Glue the paper flower parts together using the hot glue gun.

Step Four

Hang and enjoy!
