Meet Jessica Litman, the heart and head behind The Organized Mama Co. An educator with a master's degree in special education, Jessica discovered her true passion lay in bringing together her love for teaching and learning with her innate ability for organizing.
Mother to two dynamic kids - The Organized Kids, and wife to a loving husband who finds joy in cooking, Jessica is a real-life testament to creating a life of organized success. In 2013, she founded The Organized Mama as a platform to share handy organizing tutorials, creative DIY projects, and clever decorating tips.
Jessica's knack for organization wasn't just limited to her teaching days where she developed effective systems for students to stay organized throughout their school year. It found its way into her family life as well, helping her juggle the well-known chaos of bringing up two children and managing a busy household.
At The Organized Mama Co., Jessica blends her two passions - teaching and organizing. Her tips and strategies for organizing spaces are time-tested and designed to make your life easier as a busy family.

The Blog Started
Originally named Coffee And Chaos, I set out to share the craziness that was our home. Once I realized that I spelled chaos wrong in the url, we changed the blog to The Organized Mama
2016
The Organized Mama Media Co. Started
In the spring of 2016, The Organized Mama Media Company was formed. The media company is a way to bridge the gap between beautiful pictures and turning it into reality through video, blog, and social media content so viewers/readers can emulate in their homes.

After reading a book about how to use the principles of Feng Shui to declutter your home, I decided to get certified. I have been slowing using the principles to create balance in our home and hope to share how you can do the same.
