Getting Organized: Car Preparedness

Nov 18, 2014 | Organizing

So winter decided to hit Chicago rather quickly this year.  It actually snuck up on me as it felt like it was just nice outside as we were cleaning up around the house; finishing our last items on the fall cleaning to do list.  Then, BOOM…winter snow hit and it’s been freezing ever since.  This is the time I like to get my car ready for winter, and those just-in-case moments where I might be stranded on the side of the road.  So let’s take some time in getting organized: car preparedness for winter!

Getting Organized: Car Preparedness

Taking out my checklist, I pull items from all over the house to store in the car for the winter.  Besides the obvious, I like to add a few extra goodies such as snacks and extra diapers.  Then I put it all in a bin to store in the trunk of my car.

How do you prep your car for winter?  I’d love to hear what you do to get ready for the cold, winter months ahead!
