As the summer is winding down, I am seeing a lot of signs for garage sales. Having done a multi-family garage sale last summer, I learned a few helpful tips to make things easier and keep everyone more organized!
I created this checklist for planning a garage sale, which really saved us some time when trying to juggle a little kiddo and the garage sale!
If you are doing a multi-family garage sale, I would suggest giving everyone a color. For example, the Litman’s were red. Anything with a red sticker was one of our items. We also had a sheet of paper that said our name to put all of the red stickers on. At the end of the day, we just took the total from our sheet and that’s how much we made for the day!
Another easy way to label is using washi tape. You can purchase it in a variety of colors and patterns!
Hope you have a successful garage sale with these useful tips! What have you done to make your garage sale more successful? I’d love to hear from you!
