Have you ever noticed that when your home is organized, you feel more at ease?? I have seen this all too frequently with my in-home clients. And with the holidays coming, don’t you want your home to feel more relaxing? Because we all know the holidays can be a stressful time with schedule changes, lots of travel, and kids off school. To get prepped for this glorious time of year, I have a few tips to help organize your home for the holidays, which are over on A Blissful Nest!
Easy Ways To Organize Your Home For The Holiday Season
Toys
Now is the time to get those toys organized, because more toys are coming! I would start with a good declutter of the toys. Follow this checklist I created for getting the toys organized!
Kitchen
With the kids being home, you should definitely clean out your kitchen so it is ready for all the food you will be consuming over the next month! I mean, I know we eat like crazy people with all the treats and goodies!
Spend time before the kids are off for winter break to get the fridge, freezer, pantry, and kitchen drawers and cabinets organized.
Make sure you set up the kitchen for the colder weather by pulling your crock pot and other winter gadgets toward the front, and moving grilling utensils toward the back of the cabinets.

Living Spaces
Get your living spaces organized so the kids have somewhere to relax. I like swapping out pillows and throws for the colder weather.
And I also get my holiday decorations set up the mantel and around the house. I love making every room feel festive during this time of year!
