School’s out for summer and it is party time over here!!

Well not so much party time as in me racing around trying to get us ready for the entire summer… but more on that tomorrow!!

egg carton kid craft

But, in the meantime, I have a super fun kid craft that you can create on a rainy day… egg carton farm animals!!  I made pigs, sheep, chicks, and cows using the same method!  Head over to the Imagine Crafts blog for the full tutorial on these cute little guys!!

kids play room organization

I had my very first contributor post over on Pastels and Macarons where I shared how to organize kids toys like a professional!

Clipboard Storing Kids Artwork

Then I got all of my kids artwork organized, and shared how you can do the same!  Because now is the time when everything, including artwork, makes its way home from school and into your entry way!!

cooking with home chef organizing family meal plans

And in the meal planning department, I tried Home Chef this past week and fell in love!!  Plus, they are giving all you lovely readers $30 off your first order by using the code ORGANIZED (or just clicking through on this link)!!

closet organization

In client work, I got to help a client organize this gorgeous closet! We needed to add some function and a system to her already beautiful space.

closet organization shirts

She had great hangers like these in her closet already, so we spent the day grouping like items together and creating a system that works for how she uses her closet.

I also showed her my trick for organizing clothes in drawers by file folding them so you can see everything that is in there.

If you want to get your closet organized without spending any money, check out this post about how to do it!!  But make sure you have good hangers… it’s a total must for keeping those clothes looking perfect!!
