Yes! Your kids can be organized.
Today we will be talking about where to start with how to get toddler to elementary-aged kid to start organizing.

The biggest thing is to get them involved with organizing their space. Their bedroom is a fantastic place to start! It can be very difficult to let them have ownership of their own space. If their bedroom is organized in their eyes, that’s great!
Regardless of age, children can be involved with folding and putting away clothes. Toddlers tend to take things out of drawers and bins because they don’t know what is in them. Letting them put the clothes up can help to keep them from pulling things out since they already know what is in the drawer/bin!
Reminder: Just because you have something, doesn’t mean you have to keep it. Get kids involved in the decluttering process as well! Take your time to go through hand-me-downs or what they already have then help them decide what to keep.
The next step is to let the child decide how the bedroom should be set up. This can be hard! Help by giving them ideas. Ask if they would like help.
So start with the kid’s bedrooms and let them take ownership of that space! The goal is for them to learn basic organizing skills so you won’t have to later on!
