This past Saturday we celebrated my baby’s first birthday.  I couldn’t wait to celebrate with family and friends.  We ended up having a rather large party for my little man’s party, but the hubby and I decided that this wasn’t just a party for him; it was a party for us as well.  We survived and made it an entire year raising a wonderful little guy, so we deserved a part of this celebration!  I decided early on that we were going to do a monster theme because I have been calling my little man a monster since he started crawling around!  I found these great printables on Etsy designed by Simone.

We wanted everything to be easy on us so we could enjoy the party.  We ordered pizza and had chips, popcorn and M&Ms out for our guests to nosh on.  We also had some applesauce and Fruit by the Foot for the kiddos in attendance.

Finally, the cake!  We ordered a giant cake from Costco for all of our guests, but I needed to get the little man something special.  I am not a big believer in giving my child lots of sugar, just because, so I ordered his favorite banana bread from Buttercream by Julianna.  She makes the most amazing breads that are all gluten-free.  I knew that my little man loves this so he would enjoy eating it for his party!

All in all, it was a fantastic day with friends and family.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives to celebrate with!  Here are some pictures of the fantastic day!
