Looking for the tools to teach your kids how to organize? Rather than wasting your time searching the internet, why not use tried-and-true strategies from professional organizer, The Organized Mama?!?!
This mini course will cover 3 specific projects that you and your kids can organize together. In each project, two children will walk your children to set up the space. An 7-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl will guide your kids through organizing their bedrooms; how to organize their toys; and what to do with your backpacks, jackets, and shoes to create a mudroom.
In this mini course, we will cover how to organize:
- kids’ bedrooms
Each project is given specific tasks for how you and your kids can organize each space. In addition to each video tutorial, there are printables to help guide your kids through each project. There are printables to help you declutter your things and printables to help maintain the newly organized spaces. Plus there are printable labels that go with each project. These printables are key to keeping your spaces tidy.
The first lesson is on how to keep kids rooms organized as the kids walk your kids through setting up their bedrooms to remain tidy. The second lesson is to organize kids toys and how your kids can decide what toys to keep and what toys they can donate. The third lesson is on creating a “dumping zone” or mudroom. In this space your kids will create a designated spot to hang their backpack, jacket, and shoes. Plus we will determine where to put papers from their backpacks. In addition to these projects, we will go over how you, as the parent, can set expectations for your kids in each area of the home. This will help the kids understand what they have to do in each space daily.
