Frequently Asked Questions
What people asked before signing up for The Organized Kids Academy 2.0:
The Organized Kids Academy is a self-guided course. Once you purchase, you will have lifetime access to all the lessons, printables, and guide books.
Each lesson will help you complete one project in your home. Some projects may take longer than others, but the idea is to move through each lesson at your own pace so you can ensure that the space is tidy.
The Organized Kids Academy has tons of guide books for each project to help you. Each guide books will walk you through the process and give you questions to ask yourself as you organize each room.
While I appreciate what Marie does, The Organized Kids Academy does not follow her principals.
I feel that when organizing, the entire family needs to be involved. Things need a place within your home. But you also have to set realistic expectations for what you want an "organized home" to look like. Each lesson breaks down ways you can organize rooms in your home.
To be honest, I am not a minimalist either! I like stuff! I love showcasing antique pieces. I love having my grandmother's tea cups lined up on shelves. My kids love their toys and showcasing all their stuff, as well.
But I do understand the difference between keeping something because you aren't sure you need it verses keeping something because you use it. This is what we are going to teach the kids in the Organized Kids Academy.
I want you to get rid of stuff that feels right for you. I will never say, you can only have 10 books. If you are an avid reader, then you fill a wall or room with the books (on bookshelves where you can see them all though).
I created a special spot for you to watch all the videos, find all the guide books, and print out the pretty printables.
You will have lifetime access to all these lessons. Meaning, you have access to all the videos, audios, and workbooks whenever you need!
This course is recommended for families with kids ages 8 and younger. Because of the nature of the video series with my kids walking your kids through the steps, it makes it easier for them to follow-through when they see their peers organize.
But that does not mean older kids won't benefit from this course! Just know that kids ages 5, 6, and 7 will be doing the video tutorials.
