If you’re new here, I absolutely love Harry Potter! Like I have read all the books countless times, and always try to add Harry Potter materials into our Halloween decor. So I created an easy tutorial to create Harry Potter inspired Halloween drink labels using Derwent Academy markers, Xyron Creative Station, and some adorable printables!
Harry Potter Inspired Halloween Drink Labels

Materials
- Derwent Academy Water-Soluble Fine Tip Markers
- Xyron Creative Station Lite
- Printables From Paper Trail Designs
- Scissors
- Bottles of Different Sizes
- Food Coloring
Tutorial
Step One
Print out the printables from Paper Trail Designs
Step Two
Cut out each label with the scissors.
Step Three
Using the Derwent Academy fine tip markers, color the outline of the labels, along with outlining the lettering.
Step Four
Run the labels through the Xyron Creative Station Lite. I used the repositionable refill so I can use the glasses for other things later.
Step Five
Adhere the labels to the bottles. Make sure to rub the top of the sticker paper first, before pulling it apart to ensure no extra goo once it is removed!
Step Six
Fill bottles with water and food coloring.
Step Seven
Decorate!
For our Harry Potter inspired Halloween decor, I added the banner I created last year with each of the schools in the books.
I also added my arrows for each school that was shared in all of the books. I created these and used them around the house last year, but I think I might keep it simple this year and keep them all in one place.
I’m also thinking about getting a plastic caldron this year. I am trying to limit my decorations, so I want to be really thoughtful about what I am purchasing. I will make as much as I want, just don’t want to keep adding to our already incredible Halloween decor. I’ll be sharing more via Instagram and Facebook, so check them out!!
