What do you do if your family isn’t helping you declutter, or organize your home? In this episode, I’m sharing a couple of strategies that can be incredibly helpful!

Show Notes
Before you even start assigning tasks, make sure you are completely clear on what you are doing and what your kids are going to be doing. Write this down first before you start to divvy them up!
When you sit down to make this list, you can really take time to think through each of the tasks to know what your kids can take responsibility for which will take things off your plate! But be realistic and manage your expectations.
Once you have your tasks and expectations set, you will be able to create a system!
One way I like to communicate these tasks and expectations is to have a family meeting. Personally, we do a family meeting once per week. Talk about your days, schedules, tasks, and responsibilities. Ask your family to get involved! This way you can teach your kids these skills without forcing them.
Once the tasks have been set, make sure to add a deadline. This doesn’t have to be difficult. A lot of tasks have natural times that a task needs to be completed.
Sometimes you will get push back. That is completely normal!
Keeping and holding everyone accountable is key to everything. Remember you know your kids best, use what works best for you and them!
