Are your kiddos obsessed with all those bead kits? Or do they love making charm bracelets?
The storage options that come with them are never ideal for organizing or storing! I honestly despise most of them because they never come with lids. And don’t even get me started on the wooden one!
So my advise when it comes to how to organize kids beads is to use bins with lids on a turntable! This makes it easy to keep beads organized yet accessible for the kids. Plus it is super fun to spin pretty beads around when they are decorated in beautiful bins!

Tutorial
Step One:
Adhere decorative Washi tape around each of the 6 bins of the Carousel Rotating Organizer. I used black and white Washi tape, along with glittery tape.
Step Two:
Write what type of bead will go in each of the 6 bins using the Sharpie Oil-Based pen. Don’t worry about messing up because you can just use nail polish remover to write off the Sharpie!
Step Three:
Fill bins with different beads.
Step Four:
Teach the kids how to use the bead organizer!
I would start by showing the kids each container and asking them what is inside. Then I would show them how to open the container so all the beads don’t spill out. Finally I would have each kid demonstrate how to pull the container off the turntable and open it.
I created this turntable for a client in their art area. We put all the favorite beads in different bins. Then we created an area for all the bead supplies such as yarn, pipe cleaners, and string. The open baskets were the perfect solution for storing those items.
