I feel like summer just started. But it is almost back to school time again. Which means I need to get myself organized for everything that is coming.
I hate feeling like I am “behind” on organizing for back to school. So I always try to start early. We get the school supplies. I make sure everything is labeled using my favorite labels, Name Bubbles. And I start to organize our back to school kids’ lunch ideas.
Because my kids are so picky, I cannot buy anything in bulk. They just don’t eat enough for it to be cost effective. So I have a bunch of different food ideas that work for them in their lunches.
My son can easily eat the same thing every day. But my daughter needs a change. Which is why I create different ideas.

It Starts With The Lunchbox
While I would love to just use the same lunchbox for all the lunches, some of these just don’t work for some of the kids lunch ideas I am sharing.
So I make sure I have sheets of labels from Name Bubbles that are waterproof and dishwasher safe to add to every piece of lunch containers I have.
My favorite part of having waterproof labels is that they can go in the dishwasher over and over again without me having to worry about relabeling everything after washing. I just don’t have time for that.
I keep all the lunchboxes and containers together in a bin in our pantry. This makes it easy for the kids to grab their lunchbox and containers to fill with food.
Because they are kept in the pantry, I pre-label the containers and lunchboxes. So I am not worried about losing anything because they are already labeled.
We have a combination of bento boxes, reusable bags, and containers for the different meal options the kids can have.

Keeping Things Organized
Gather all your lunchbox materials. For us, it includes bento boxes, containers, and reusable bags. Add your Name Bubbles waterproof labels to each of the lunchbox items. This will ensure you don’t lose anything throughout the year!
I also love using Name Bubbles write-on labels to create a calendar for our meals. Add the stickers to a calendar to write down what meals you are making for the kids. Then wipe the label after each week for a clean start!
Store all these things together in one central location. For us, it is in our pantry.
Now you can pack those lunches without worrying about what to actually pack because you got organized and made a plan ahead of time.
