Decluttering any area can be overwhelming. I wanted to make the process easier for you by sharing declutter questions you can ask yourself while you are organizing your kitchen.
Using declutter questions will keep your mind focused on a task you aren’t really interested in doing. These questions are the best way I found to stay focused because it gives my brain thoughts to think while I am deciding if something should stay or if something can go.
Step 1: Get the Guide
The first step to decluttering your life is obtaining the Declutter Questions document. The best part? It’s absolutely free!
Simply sign up through our website, and the document will be delivered straight to your inbox.
Once you receive the email, download the questions. I like to have them laminated so I can reuse the questions over and over. I store them in my declutter caddy. You can learn more about a declutter caddy by reading: Declutter Caddy: What It Is And Why You Need One.
Step 2: Ask the Declutter Questions While Organizing Your Kitchen
Once you have the guide, the magic begins.
Start by choosing an area of your home that could use some decluttering magic. As you go through each item, ask yourself each of the questions listed in the document.
Questions like “Have you admired this item in the past year?” or “Does this item hold significant meaning to you?” aim to help you analyze and determine the value that each item holds in your life.
The objective is not to get rid of as much as possible, but to ensure that every item in your home serves a purpose or brings you joy.
Use the video to help you ask you go through the questions to help guide you through decluttering your kitchen.
