Best Ways To Line Kitchen Drawers

The four best ways to line kitchen drawers and cabinets are shared with specific products and how to use each type of liner.

Drawer liners are one of my favorite tools to use in the kitchen. Not only do they keep pots and pans from sliding around in drawers, they also help protect your drawers. But selecting drawer liner to use to line kitchen drawers can be tricky. With so many options, it can be overwhelming to decide which ones to use for which areas. So I am breaking down the 4 different options of liners I like using in the kitchen. I am also sharing some examples of when you should use them in your kitchen drawers and cabinets.

Clorox EasyLiner

Designed with antimicrobial agents that inhibit mold and mildew growth to protect the liner, Clorox EasyLiner is ideal for those areas in your home that need a little extra protection. That is why I love using them to line kitchen drawers where water may be present, under the kitchen sink, and drawers that have items that may need more protection.

For us, I use the Clorox EasyLiner in the kitchen utensils drawer because some of the items may have water droplets on them when they come out of the dishwasher. I also use Clorox EasyLiner to line where I keep the cooking oils, spices, and sauces in case of any spills.

The drawers that I store mixing bowls is also lined with Clorox EasyLiner so the bowls don’t bang around every time we open the drawer.

Clear Classic EasyLiner

The Clear Classic EasyLiner is perfect for using on wire shelving in pantries, lining drawers, and lining shelving that is glass. Durable and water resistant, the liner provides protection for both indoor and outdoor uses around the home. It’s clear, textured surface is designed to keep surfaces dry, while its non-adhesive grip bottom holds the liner, and your objects, in place. The clear design is also perfect for refrigerator shelves, letting light pass through to the surface below. Plus, the easy-to-wipe surface makes cleanup a breeze.

I use the Clear Classic EasyLiner in my pantry with wire shelves, our Tupperware drawer, and in our fridge.

Smooth Top

Smooth Top EasyLiner provides a clean, cushioned barrier between surfaces and items placed in drawers. The cushioned non-adhesive grip bottom keeps the shelf liner in place and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, while the solid surface keeps objects from falling through.

I use the Smooth Top EasyLiner to hold all my platters and serve ware. I keep them all in pull-out shelves so I lined the drawers with the Smooth Top liner so they don’t bump around when I pull out the shelves. The liner also give a nice cushion to protect the platters from the shelves themselves.

Adhesive Liner

I love using the adhesive liner to add decor style to shelves and cabinets. Since the adhesive liner has many prints, you can change up the look of your cabinets easily. Instantly give shelves, cabinets, and household objects a new look without the hassle of remodeling. The pre-printed paper backing makes it easy to measure and cut liner to size. Plus, it’s easy to wipe clean, making it perfect for when you line kitchen drawers and cabinets.

I use the adhesive liner to line the back of our cabinets that have glass in them. I have also used the adhesive liner to cover older shelves in kitchen cabinets. This protects my dishes and gives the shelves new life.
